Each plan has a limited number of resources allocated to it. These resources are the total amount of disk space your account uses and the total amount of bandwidth your account has used in a month. When a user reaches the plan's respective resource limit, things can possibly start go wrong. You may not be able to send or receive email, upload files, or your website--particularly if it is running on a CMS--could fail altogether.
Account Quota Measurements
If you are having problems and Hestia (the server administration panel) indicates that you are within your limits, it is possible that you just recently hit the limit. Hestia only updates account measurements overnight.
Resolving the Issue
There are several possible solutions for overcoming this.
- Contact support and upgrade your plan to one with more resources. (Additional fees will apply)
- Free up disk space by moving email messages off of the server and into your local computer with an email client.
- Free up disk space by moving old files off of the server.
- Free up disk space by moving large files off of the server.
